“You don’t marry someone you can live with – you marry the person who you cannot live without.” -unknown
We are both graduates of Baylor University but didn’t really meet until after college. The meeting took place on sunny Labor Day weekend in 2005 on Lake Lewisville. Officially in March 2006 we began dating. It was only a few months into our relationship that Joe found out he had an opportunity for an orthopedic surgery residency position in St. Louis, Missouri. So in the summer of 2006, I packed my things and made St. Louis my new home. It didn’t take long for us to know we were meant to be together and that God had a plan for us. In January 2007, we took a trip to Durango, Colorado for some time on the mountain. It was that weekend, Joe asked me to be his wife. I immediatley started planning a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for November 2007. We also had another change in our life. Joe decided orthopedics was not what he wanted to do so he took an anesthesiology residency position in Houston. The summer of 2007 was busy! We moved from St. Louis to Houston, I found a job teaching, Joe started a new program and we were planning a wedding. Ugh! That was fun but I am glad it is over with: ) After living in Houston for 3 years, Joe finished his residency and took a job in Dallas. We have enjoyed a year and half of living in Dallas, hanging with friends and family and doing lots of traveling. We decided it is time to spice up our life and add an addition to the Jackson household. So here we are expecting our first little munchkin in July 2012.
