I’ve got what is officially considered a full-term baby, even with three weeks to go. That doesn’t mean she’s finished growing — in fact, she’s still packing on about a half pound a week. That makes it a little crowded, so she’s not kicking as much, though she’s is stretching, rolling a bit, and wiggling (all of which I am able to feel!). Right now, she is busy rehearsing for her big debut, inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid (to get the lungs ready for that first breath), sucking her thumb (to prepare for that first suckle of milk), blinking, and turning from side to side.
It looks like this might be our official last week of a family of 2 + Rumer and Lola. Depending on her size we might help her come at the end of next week: ) However, my doctor said she would not be surprised if she came on her own before then. I feel like a ticking time bomb!
How far along? 37 weeks
Total weight gain: I am tired of this question: / Let’s just say I gained a few pounds in a week due to some swelling..ugh!
Maternity clothes? I think I have outgrown maternity clothes…what is the next size because that is what I should be wearing!
Stretch marks? Not one yet!!
Sleep: I am definitely prepared to not having any sleep!
Best moment of the week: My doctor visit and then realizing she could be here at any moment!
Miss anything? same as last week…non-maternity clothes, a skinny body, being able to do the simple things, good nights sleep, girls night out, dancing and margaritas!
Movement: She is a mover! It officially hurts when she moves! I think she is dancing in there at times; )
Food cravings: sweets
Anything make you queasy or sick: No
Gender: GIRL
Labor Signs: lots of Braxton Hicks contractions
Symptoms: I had high blood pressure at my appointment on Monday. My BP is normally low so I will be heading back to the Dr. in the morning.
Belly Button in or out? it is officially out
Wedding rings on or off? still on but getting tight because of the swelling
Happy or Moody most of the time: very happy but starting to get uncomfortable and bored since I am not suppose to be doing much: /
